01Scope and Controller

This policy explains how Trend handles personal information across its website, applications, email notifications and customer support. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].

02Data We Collect

We collect information necessary for the features you use.

  • Account data: email, name, username, avatar, language and preferences.
  • Security and technical data: IP address, device, browser, operating system, login records, session identifiers and security events.
  • Product usage: searches, watchlists, alerts, feature actions, page visits and support history.
  • Transaction data: plan, payment status, order identifiers, refunds and subscription status; full card details are handled by payment providers.

03Google and Apple Sign-In

When you choose third-party sign-in, we may receive an account identifier, email, name and avatar supplied by the provider, depending on your authorization and provider settings. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.

04Purposes and Legal Bases

We process information to create and secure accounts, provide market data and alerts, fulfill subscriptions, handle support requests, prevent fraud, improve the product and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations and consent.

05Payment Processing

PayPal, Apple App Store or Stripe if enabled in the future processes the relevant payment information. We generally receive transaction identifiers, payer email, plan, amount, status and timestamps rather than full payment card data.

06Analytics and Monitoring

We may use PostHog, Sentry and server logs to understand feature usage, performance and errors. Marketing or non-essential analytics are enabled on the basis of consent where required by law.

07Sharing and Processors

We do not sell personal information. To operate the service, we may disclose necessary information to hosting, authentication, database, email, payment, monitoring and market-data providers, subject to contractual and access restrictions.

08Cookies and Local Storage

Essential cookies support sign-in, security and preferences; analytics cookies measure product usage; marketing cookies are used only if enabled and with consent where required. See the Cookie Policy for details.

09Data Retention

Active account data is retained while services are provided. After an account deletion request is completed, primary profile data is normally deleted or anonymized within 30 days; security logs and backups may remain for up to 90 days; tax, payment, anti-fraud or dispute records may be retained longer where legally required.

10Security and International Processing

We use HTTPS, access controls, authentication and provider security capabilities to protect data. No internet service is absolutely secure. Data may be processed in countries where providers operate, using lawful transfer mechanisms where applicable.

11Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, export or deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent and close your account. We may verify identity and retain limited records for legal or security reasons.

12GDPR and California Rights

EU and UK users may have rights to information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and regulatory complaint. California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive-data use and receive non-discriminatory treatment. Trend does not currently operate a business model based on selling personal information.
